New graphics card
I have had a GTX280 for a couple of years and I would like to get better framerates from Crysis 2 and Skyrim on my 30" flat panel (2560x1600).
I am looking to spend around £200 for something to tide me over until I can rebuild my rig using kepler cards later in the year.
I would prefer to stay with nVidia but am open to any suggestions.
Regards
Mark

Re: New graphics card
You can get a 2gb gtx-560Ti for around the £200-220 price mark, which will offer roughly 20+% improvement over your gtx280?
The 2gb version is definitely worth the extra over the standard 1gb edition - in games like BF3 the extra vram makes a massive difference! That and 2gb is arguably more future proof than 1gb ;)
The gtx560 scales really nicely in sli too, so if you have an sli capable mobo you have an upgrade path too :)
Quick link to the closest comparison I could find - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/317?vs=330

Re: New graphics card
You aren't likely to see any improvement over your 280 in Skyrim with your current CPU, but Crysis 2 and other shooters will benefit a 560ti or even better a 560ti 448 cores which might lower in price in a few weeks as the new AMD cards come out.
