Get a Llano if it's only a HTPC, presuming you don't have a CPU already.

    ATI HD6450.

Only £30,passive cooled so no noise, will even allow games to be played so will allow flexibility being a family computer.

+ 1 This is a good choice for a HTPC.

Yeah im using the 5450 in mine, pretty much the same as the 6 series and its top notch. Does get a bit hot though so make sure there is a bit of air flow over it.

    +1 to this.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Be very carefull about this if you are going to decode interlaced material (ie if you have a tv tuner)
I've got a sapphire one and the vector adaptive deinterlacing has had problem up to driver version 11.11 (havn't tested later) even though it was active in 11.4. Also, do not buy an asus 6450, they have cut the memory bus by half....
