    nvidia geforce ti4200 help wanted

hi, i've just got a new shuttle system today, so far i've just installed the drivers from nvidias website. benched in 3dmark 01 at 11524 which i'm very happy with as i could only get around 4500 in my old system.

anyway what are the best drivers for this card? and how do i go about overclocking it?

    thanks

Just go to nVidia's website and download the lastest WHQL Forceware drivers.

As for overclocking it, my Gainward card has overclocking abilities built into Display Properties. Download Powerstip and you'll be away.

Or you can just add a reg key to your registry so that you can clock straight from the display panel. If you pm me i can send you a kinda installer for the reg key.

have a feeling the 45.xx series (ie 45.23 or something) are best for gf4.. i got 135xx with my rig - which is pretty similar to yours, just the gf4 is prolly clocked higher

Use riva tuner, it is better. Also the 45.** drivers are the last ones optimised for geforce 4's as after that (53.**) the FX range started using drivers and they are slower for gf4's.

    Rivatuners low-level overclock is excelent.

For geforce 4s use the last 44.xx-45.xx WHQL certified driver.
