    Cleaning Screens

I run TFTs at home - always have (past 5 years or so) anyway I have a couple of them at the moment one of which was really grubby after moving to my new place.

Anyway I thought I would experiment with different things to clean with. I can now state that Windolene is the defacto best thing to clean with - spray some on to a kitchen towel and 'scrub' the screen in a circular movement.

Let it dry on its own then re-clean. I am amazed how much cr*p came off the screen

Is that the shell or the actual screen itself?

is it true that you should use PC wipes on CRTs, beacuse some of them say "do not use on CRT's with antiglare gel coats" (like mine)

and my moniters manual sayes "not not use alcohol based wipe on this, beacuse of the anti glare"

does it really damage it :S
