    Cheap Radeon X800s!??

    http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/...9-EFD030750327

Anyone heard of these guys? They're advertising X800 cards at a bloody good price, perhaps too good? They seem to have Evesham Technology backing so should be OK.

Partcode is 6061, which suggests it's the Connect 3D version....

The X800XT PE is rather cheap compared to other places. £300+ is still too rich for me though!

Edit: I'm still hoping they make a plain (non-pro) X800 with just 8 pipelines enabled to replace the 9800 Pro

The site is in UK pricing.

    Evesham Radeon X800 Pro 256MB DDR AGP DVI TV-out - £274.87
    Evesham Radeon X800 XT PE 256MB DDR DVI TV-out VIVO - £319.99

I'm pretty sure these are Connect3D branded though. I might settle for a 9800 Pro 256MB though, X800s are still a bit pricey.....argh!

You might want to try this:

    http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.asp?sku=300413&cks=PRL

And ask Pat if he can give you a special hexus discount on that price in here:

Thanks Malfunction, getting cheaper! Gives me a chance to give Lowest On Webs "price beat" facility a rip and see what they can do.

    Otherwise, Komplett it is!

Your looking at over 250 quid for even the basic x800 pro card, if thats what your after.

Nothing wrong with Connect3D at all had a number of there cards, nothing special but they do what it says on the tin so to speak.

Connect3D are basic, (you don't usually get much of a bundle, if any) but they're just as good as all the others

i got a card from lowest over 3 months ago now and will confirm that they are connect3d and that they shift like poop of a shovel.

    + u get free p+p

no bundle though just a driver disk and the usual array of cables in a brown box

this card is completely reference so if u bought 1 from ati direct. it would be identical

Can you confirm that it is definitely an XT PE they are selling ? Just want to make sure before I order one. Thanks.

    Just to confirm:

Nothing dodgy about LowestOnWeb, I got my X800XT-PE from them a while back for £319.99

Nothing dodgy about Connect3D either, you just get no bundle - no games with it, just the card and cables in a box.

    Yes, they are Platinum Editions.

    Mine overclocks very well.

If you can get one, go for it.
