Uh... Yes and no.. Text will be Bad.. Very BAD :inquisiti Limited ress.. and well I hope you have at least a high deff tv :devilish:
-
text will be bad if a) you use a non-ati-or-matrox graphics card, and b) you use windows. i was amazed by how much better TV out is on a fifteen quid radeon 7000 than a geforce 2, and equally amazed by how crisp everything looks under Gnome rather than Windows - linux making a useable PC on TV
-
I'm using my AIW and text is unlegable! How does the operating system play a role in the text quality?
-
Don't forget that you'll be limited to about 640x480 resolution, unless you've got a high definition TV (which are practically unheard of in the UK).
At the end of the day, it's not worth doing unless you want to do it just for watching DVDs.
-
would it also be usefull tho for playing games such as bf1942, and ut2004?
-
Well, it all comes down to the tv... The higher the suported ress the better :) The question is does anyone here have $5,000.00 to spend on a tv? I do use my tv with my all in wounder, but only to watch tv... My PC makes it easy to get tv listings and record live tv and also pause it! Much like a Tivo! :iloveyou:

yeah, its jsut for movies, so its that simple? cool, hope it works :)
