Well, this is what I said last time:

    Radeon 7000 32MB
    8800GTX
    Radeon 9250 256MB

Obviously they were spread over several machines The principle machine went from FX5200 -> 9800Pro, then I built a new box with the 8800GTX in. The rest cycled around various computers and are now all sat in a big bag in a cupboard waiting for me to sell / freecycle them
And since then I've invested in:

    nv 7900GTO
    nv 8400GS
    ati HD3470

And I've scrounged from old machines:

    nv GeForce 2 MX

Think that's all the additions: as you can tell I'm mostly sticking to mainstream entry level graphics!

256mb Nvidia Geforce 7900GT - 1st Card overclocked and voltmodded for insane performance - died within 2 weeks, Replacement was left stock.
    512mb Nvidia Geforce 7950GX2

I think it'd be interesting to know which, out of all the cards you've ever owned, you think was the best, for whatever reason..

Out of my list it was probably my 8800GT, paid £130 for it and it lasted me ages and played games REALLY well for the price.

Tough choice, but there were a couple of big jumps.

Ti4200 and 8800GT stick out. OTOH, the Voodoo 1 card was literally a game changer!

I think it'd be interesting to know which, out of all the cards you've ever owned, you think was the best, for whatever reason...
9800Pro - at a time when I was just getting into gaming, a card that could run every game I owned with all the pretties turned on (well, except NWN shiny water, that *never* worked on ATI cards) at very smooth frame rates.

The 8800GTX was pretty good, but tbh I probably got it at the wrong time, and I still don't play any games that really need that much graphical oomph: although having the 8800GTX did make my purchase of a 1600x1200 85Hz CRT monitor much more realistic, and that purchase *was* a game changer...

    FX5200.
    Radeon 9400 variation.
    X1950 Pro 512MB.
    GTX 260 (216).
    GTX 460(later on SLI'd)
    GTX 480.

Although not the bet in terms of cost/performance - I do miss having the brute shading power of 900MHz clocked 460's, especially when that 3DMark11 thread was all the rage. I also had a quick dabble in EF/Surround with them.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
