    Question Icon Shadows

A few days ago, I was messing about with themes from the internet, and trying them out on my desktop. Now I wish I hadn't . I got rid of whatever themes I tried because I didn't like them, but it's now left me with a shadow behind some of my icons.

Is there a way to get rid of the shadow? It is only behind some icons, such a my documents, recycle bin, and the halo trial shortcut. The rest are fine. Is there a way to make them all like the zip folders (without a shadow) ?

    Thanks

I've just found out how to take the shadows off if anyone's interested. It wasn't because I was messing around with themes at all! It was because I had a web item on my desktop. If you take this off, then the shadows go away.

Would anyone know if it's possible to have web items and no shadows at the same time?

ahh - from the icons. I don't have many PC games right now, but I've got a few demos to choose which to buy.

Back on topic, could anyone tell me what the default desktop colour is on windows XP? (The hue, sat, lum, red, green and blue numbers in display properties) My desktop still doesn't look like it used to.

    Thanks
