Ah, the MLAA improvements will be a boon to my brothers 5850.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Not listed as a known issue either which means they can't reproduce it. Fill in the bug report here:

MLAA doesn't need to be faster, just better (I've switched to using the SMAA injector for games that need additional post process AA, and find this much superior to FXAA or MLAA v1)

The texture improvements on the 7870 are nice

    Re: AMD Catalyst 12.4 out

I downloaded these last night. Looking forwardd to trying them out.
The leaked 12.5 promises further improvements as well.
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

Running MLAA on my brothers rig (C2D @ 3.4GHz/4GB RAM/5850 1GB) seemed to tank performance (only tried BF3) and as you say, without the best quality.

Anyone else getting issues with these drivers where Windows 7 temporarily loses aero? My mate and me both got it at the exact same time weirdly tonight, and it came back at the same time too. I had it last night too. It's annoying! Considering neither of us had the problem before updating, and we both updated the exact same time, it must be connected. We both have HD5850's too. Just wondering if it's a wider problem. I'll be looking forward to 12.5's for that reason!

Open Control Panel and go to Problems whatever it's called, there should be a problem listed like "Fix Aero" It might try to fix it and fail, but... it may just fix it few seconds afterwards on it's own. Annoying.

Well, one thing about the new drivers I like is that when I switch to Eyefinity mode, I can make the Task Bar only start on one monitor at last without needing to use a other third-party software.

They still haven't fixed Windows switching screens when changing modes. I can't tell you enough how annoying it is to move 10+ explorer windows and more Firefox windows and whatever else back to the X monitor they should be displayed on after switching to normal desktop mode from Eyefinity.
