    DabsValue Graphics Cards

    Hi guys

Does anyone have any experience with DabsValue graphics cards? In particular, are they just rebadged versions of (in this case) nVidia's reference cards? Or does the 'value' aspect impinge on quality? There's £18 between this and a trusted name alternative, so any advice would be appreciated

    Thank you in advance

Bought a dabs value a few years ago when the 2mx where good. Just a rebadged OEM usually.

Depends on how lucky you are really.

Some are cheap no-name garbage (I can't think of words suitable enough), on the other hand, I've had Powercolor ATi cards before now on Dabs Value.

My Dabsvalue GF FX 5200 is an Inno3d one. Dabsvalue just means the cheapest they could find, they aren't dabs branded or anything..

One thing to keep in mind is when you come to resell it - to finance an upgrade - is that people really do liked to see a boxed product on ebay. So the £10-20 you save at one end can be lost at the other. I ran into this a couple of times with 'white boxed' cards I've bought in the past (last one being a white-boxed PNY Ti4600, which has worked perfectly from the day I bought it for the last 24 months; but this card was also about £35-45 cheaper at the time than a full boxed product, so I can't complain...)

    Hi guys

Thanks for all the information and opinions. The card in question was a GeForce 6800, which at £199.99 is a good price. However Nomadd's comments about reselling made me think twice. As it turns out, I may have found a bargain elsewhere. If so, I'll post the details

    Thanks again
