NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 670 2GB Video Card Performance Preview [tweaktown]

Looks like the performance is on par with the 7970 rather than the expected performance of the 7950.
I am assuming the card will come in at £100 less than a 680, so £320 - £360 range
Will be interested if the price is right. How will AMD react?

So, 80% of a GTX680 with 100% of the memory bandwith. Not bad. I'd like it to be closer to 250£ but I'm fairly certain that will never happen at launch

It would put a spanner in the works of AMD if they matched the price of the 7950

With the 690 being close to the following prices (rumours), then £340 could be a good bet (any offers?)

NVIDIA pricing structure (for now), should look as follows:

    $999 (£840) - GTX 690 4GB
    $579 (£490) - GTX 680 4GB OC (Preferred AIB Pricing)
    $499 (£420) - GTX 680 2GB
    $479 (£400) - GTX 670 4GB (Preferred AIB Pricing)
    $399 (£335) - GTX 670 2GB
    $249 (£210) - GTX 660 (Ti?) 1.5GB

Products are expected to be formally announced next week, with mass availability and custom designs by Computex Taipei 2012, which is scheduled to take place between June 5-9 at World Trade Center and Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei, Taiwan

If the 670 is this good (bear in mind this is the only performance benchmarks we've seen..), the 660ti/650 are going to be major headaches for AMD as well.

Oooh. This is sounding good. Will have to wait for some more reviews of course, but for 1920x1200 gaming, this might be the sweet spot if it can come in at £250 to £300. Would he nice to have a decent single slot cars instead. Hopefully that means that it won't run too hot, and make SLI more possible especially on mobos where the second slot it near the bottom.

Just as I had decided to plump for a 680

I thought the lift on the NDA was the 10th May, but there is nothing anywhere
I'm hoping its due to America still being in bed and we get info sometime in the afternoon.
