I've just recived my 9800PRO and was wondering what benefits are if I have the R360 core. Are there any benefits over just clocking the card wih radlinker and such?

Update your sig
Apparently it helps you overclock a bit higher and gives you a few hundred more points in 3d mark as standard
I still need to flash mine
hmmm seems worth it then Be weekend job though, don't want to rush it and pooch it within 24hrs
Runs at Xt speeds instead of pro. How much ram you got on the card and i hope youve got the cooling to boot?
Efaill change your sig again. You don't have "twinmoss" you have "TwinMOS" Sorry, it was one of my annoyances
Anyone got any links to decent guides on this process?

The Card has 128MB ram so I'll be needing the 128Mb XT bios and I have an Artic cooler waiting to on the card that sit next to a 120mm case fan in the side panel. Cooling catered for I thinkOriginally Posted by Shogun
Sig also changed
All this upgrading should go nice with the Raid0 scsi array I hope to put in the machine to this weekend
Cooling should be fine
Ive OC'd my 9800 to 468/377 with ati tool is this comparable to the Xt or is this flashing business worthwhile? i have a r360 core I checked when I fittef the arctic cooler on my card I read somewhere that flashing to an XT doesnt make any real performance gains over overclocking but stops you having to set the clock each time which is a nuisance?
