A Deep Question ref these new Cards Open GL Ability

I dont know how long I can hold on till the Halflife 2 benchmarks. I'm going to need a card in 2 weeks . Either an XT-PE or a GT for me.

It doesnt matter either way. The performance difference in half life2/doom3 isnt enough to justify purchassing a different card.

The 6800gt is the card i would get at the moment probably because its cheap, though the x800xt pe can be had for £320

I was pleased with my GT, but at max AA and AF it started to drag. Hence why I'm considering the XT-PE.
