Help Having Trouble With Getting 6800 Ultra!

Hi guys first major post. Ordered my PNY 6800 ultra at dabs 1-2 weeks usual delivery that was on the 28th june still no card. I know that PNY havent actually got any new ultra/chip cards made any light on this? (has anyone got a PNY ULTRA?)

Question is how many people are still waiting weeks for there card? and any advice where to get one quicker apart from me ringing dabs everyday complaining about there lies!!!

In saying this, im not bothered as long as the card arrivies for friday 13th (ironic) for doom 3 release! Ok Far Cry shadows and lighting are rubbish on my 5600 fx but i can handle that for 30 days or so.

BTW Doom 3 is shipping 3rd of august according to www.doom3.com!

yeah but on game uk online its 13th i think the 3rd is usa only. Nice to see that some other people are having trouble getting cards!!!

I called Nvidia and they said that the demand for the chips is so high they underestimated they stock they produced of the NV40 chip.

Yea plenty of places have had the PNY (and others XFX,Gainward, AOpen, Galaxy..etc) Ultras in and then quickly out of stock (Scan, PCWComponents, Komplett, Tekheads). Plenty of places tho are screwing people over by making and breaking promises just to get pre-orders *coughs* (OCUK / Dabs).

well after 30 days of waiting i got excited the order staus says awaiting packing!!!!........

.......that was yest at 3pm it still says the same nowat 10am.
Ive sent an email and if i get another automated response ill call them up and annoy them again.

After this i aint using dabs ever agian!!!

Anyone know where i can get a cheap 17" <16ms flat screen?????
