best / most stable ATI cat drivers ?

Hi,

recently found a few games have been crashing after a few mins quite randomly and figure it must be my cat drivers i've installed...

i am now using 4.9 beta i believe as that was what was reccomended for doom 3...

however b/c it keeps crashing my system what is the next best thing ? downloading 4.8's from ATI site... are these any good ?

or should i go for older ones ?

I havent had any problems with 4.8 or 4.9. What games is it crashing in? I doubt its the CATs that are causing the problem.

Using 4.8 cat drivers here and everythings fine

4.8 Omegas here.. Only crashes I have is when the room gets toasty and my OC fails

The next best thing is the 4.8 drivers as they are the last official release from ATI, and must people recommend the OMEGA drivers.

thanks... have tried the omega drivers didn't like the layout of them...

seems to be a bit better now i got the 4.8 installed

was crashing in all my games after random times... strange...

No problem Snow-Munki, perhaps the crashing in games was because they are beta and may not have being tested properly on hardware similiar to yours. who knows!
