Angry Opinion before i call OCUKand go nuts!!

    Hi

I have been waiting since the 22nd june for a replaemnet XFX ultra which i RMA'd back to OCUK. Yesterday thanks to these forums i ordered another one from somewher else and it will be delivered today, I mailed OCUK to ask for a full refund but they said i hadnt RMAd the card within 28 days and could only get a replacement not a refund. Truth is that i returned the card within 4 days of receiving it and have the royal mail trackin code to prove they received it. Going to phone them at 9:30 and demand the cash back, also checked trading standards website and found:

"If you have not left it for too long, but decide to allow the trader to repair the goods, you will not have lost any rights to have your money back later if the repair is unsuccessful. If you allow the trader to replace faulty goods, get an agreement in writing that if the replacements are faulty too, you will still be able to have your money back"

So i dont even think the have a leg to stand on, They have let me down at every turn and cant even provide the same card from a different manufacturer

So how did they get their 28 days from?
Contact your credit card company, as under the distance selling laws your entitled to a refund even if you dont want the thing within 7 days.
I must admit although I found ocuk OK in the past, looks like they are starting to suffer.
I'm still very much impressed with ebuyer when they have stock, and so far pcwcomponent is looking good (cant believe I said that )

hahaaahha.. his co-worker.. not him is a tool.

These boys phoned me when my card was wrecked. the fan was buggered.
They said "it works fine" I said. No. don't f*ck with me. Test it under the same conditions as I did and then get back to me. I was pissed at the time they phoned.

Its bad to say it was abot 10am, but I had stayed up with mates watching 24 all night.

I was literally screaming at them. Upshot. one replacement card. so I had 2 copies of the card for HL2 <- bonus OCUK were pwned by me

    You must be joking!!

I have been on at them for weeks trying to get a replacement, They kept sending stock out to people who had ordered after me, even though they told me i would get on as soon as 1 arrived at their ware house.

Now this morning i got a wirless router from ebuyer but they sent the wrong one, doesnt have the laptop card with it. Rma all over again, cant be any worse than OCUK i hope....................................

"What can a shopper do if goods are faulty?

If the goods you have bought are faulty you have the right to reject them and return them to the place where you bought them.

    * You need not accept a replacement, free repair or a credit note.
    * If you agree to a repair it will not stop you claiming your money back if the repair turns out to be unsatisfactory.
    * You do not lose the right to reject the goods by signing a delivery note."
