Dual DVI for £100-£150...AGP or PCI-ex

Ok its probably a while off yet, but I'm looking to replace my ancient 17" CRTs with a couple of shiney new 17" TFTs. I've been looking/reading around and I like the LG's so I'll probably go for them, but thats not the point of this thread.

With those TFT's I wanna get a dual DVI card and I can't find any around yet, except matrox. I'm not looking to spend much more than I would for DVI + D-sub since I don't really see the point... Any suggestions?

On the other hand, I also need to upgrade my Mobo, Ram anyway so might it be worth waiting for AMD PCI-express? Currently I'm using a XP1800 (that won't overclock much) and GF3 on a KT400.

...Course I could just get the screens and upgrade the rest in a few months

Only non-Matrox dual DVI card is the GeForce 6800 Ultra.

the normal 6800 has a 2 dvi version at £198 from dabs (a bit out of your range but this is the only one i know of)

I'm not sure the FX5700 is fast enough for the price tbh. I just checked a review from hexus that said it was only OK, and that was a few months ago now.

The FX6800 is tempting, it would be damn nice to have a card that close to top of the range. Its slightly annoying that neither Hexus nor THG compare it with any older cards so I can see how fast it is relative to the Rad9800XT, the GF5700 and all the rest. Thinking about it though, I'm not sure it would be worth getting a card of that class on AGP rather than PCI-ex.
