Advice on a graphics card.. not bought one in many years!

You can get a 7850 for £155, but it's only the reference design and I don't have any experience of how good the vendor is.

Prices may come down if the GTX 660 comes out soon, but who knows..

In this case it's not just about it being £20 more for a bit of extra performance - it's a generation ahead in architecture. It's worth the extra money.

Personally I'd look for a 7850 closer to the price, or scrounge the extra £££ from the mrs it'd be worth it
