How can you b sure you've got an R360 Core on ur Raddy 9800 Pro?
Take the heatsink off and have a look.
ati tool will tell you
I'm pritty sure that ATITool only shows what the video card's BIOS says...
TY, I'll try ATI Tool :)
ATI tiil listed mine as a r350 core when i looked in the properties.
*edit*
Click the "Settings" button (bottom right) & in the Overclocking tab it should list the chip type.
You'll need to take the heatsink. I have a R360 core 9800 but ati tool says it's r350 for the precise reason above. :)
This is the only proper way of finding out !!!!Quote:

well tbh it doesnt matter much
and to clear things up, i have an R350 core card which is flashed to XT and ati tool says its r360 =)
the core isnt as important as the memory if your thinking of flashing to XT. good samsung memory will allow you to flash :) it did me
ati tool seems to read both the r350 and r360 as a r350 only way to find out is by takin of the heatsnik..
Ok as far as I know this works.
With ATI tool do a bios dump.
Go to the ATI tool directory and rename the bios .bin to bios.txt and open with notepad with word wrap on.
Second line down will tell you what your core is.
ATI tool reports that mine is a R350 but bios dump says R360 heatsink off yep it's a R360...go figure :)
hope that helps
