Driver refuse to install after 9800Se to XT Flash

Hi everyone.


I have a Sapphire 9800SE 256Bit L-Shaped Samsung 3N memory with the 360 core. Softmoded great and got 440/355 out of it. I un-installed the driver. After altering the core and memory setting with radedit 1.1D to 270/270, I have tried 3 different XT samsung 128Mb bios (Gigacube, powercolor and sapphire) with the same result: When i'm back into windows, I try to install the driver back, I got the error ''No compatible hardware found''. Had no choice but to revert back to my original bios for the time being. I'm using the OCFAQ catalyst 4.7 softmod driver under windows xp pro sp1. Any help would be appreciated.

I dont use ATi but have you tried the Omega drivers ?

The driver originally used were OCFAQ softmoded driver, not the ATI one. And as you can see below, we had the same idea !!:


I have found the problem. The OCFAQ driver for a reason or an other doesn't support the 9800XT. I re-flashed the card and tried the omega driver instead. worked 100%. Now I have a 8 pipe 256Bit R360 9800XT runnig at 455/350, no volt mod yet. all that from a 155.00$ 9800Se card. Very nice.
