nvidia's naming scheme gets worse, again? I remember when you got three levels of cards, x800, x600, and x400, each range used a different die, and had a couple of variations based on how many shaders and memory links the card used compared to the full die.

Now they do 3 different OEM 640s, one of which is still based on Fermi!? 2 different 650's each based on a different die?

For crying out loud nvidia, just release a genuine successor to the GTX460! Something that's faster than it and costs about £130. Seriously, you do not need 15 different graphics cards... stick to ~5

TBH, if I were nVidia, I would have a large range as well. It reduces waste and increases profit.

Regardless of how confusing it gets for end users, it is a decent business move and one we are all stuck with as they seem to be trying to milk every last penny from their stock these days......but then, who isn't?
