What cards is the 7950 boos BIOS compatible with?

As the title, looking to get a new GPU and it seems like it's either between the 7950 and the 660ti. As far as the 7950 goes, I've read the 7950 boost is pretty nice and adds a good few FPS in most games. I was wondering which cards is the BIOS compatible with? Is it only the original reference cards that have the original AMD cooler? or could it be installed on something like http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-683.shtml
It has the same clock speeds as the reference card but will anything else be different? Making it unable to use the new BIOS.

    Thanks in advance

Re: What cards is the 7950 boos BIOS compatible with?

AFAIK, it's reference boards/PCB's only. I'm pretty sure the IceQ boards aren't exactly reference, so i don't think it'll work.
However, 7950's overclock very well. Instead of trying to flash the BIOS, or waiting around just to pay full whack for a 'new' reference card, you could use the Catalyst Control Center to clock it up easily to 1Ghz (and a bit on the RAM if you want), without having to tinker with voltage settings or damage the card.
So it's running as standard 50-75Mhz higher than the new BIOS, even when boost is applied.
...If you're cool with applying the overclock. There are lots of good guides.

Looks like it'll only work on the reference PCB. I've just ordered an MSI Twin Frozr 7950 which uses the 7970 PCB, but I think I'll just clock it up to match the boost anyway. AMD are pretty much guaranteeing that 925MHz is safe, right
