I am considering buying one since they are only $416 US at dell right now! :eek: And yes there in stock!!!! :shocked2: This is a amazing deal considering they are normaly $550 - $600! And the Pros are only $330.... I will get one only if you guys think the price wont drop any lower! I'd hate to buy one and see the price drop to $350 in a month! ;)
So whats your opinions? Think I should go for it?

Sounds a bit fishy to me. How can Dell offer a $600 card for $400? Sure, Dell buy in bulk, but not to cut their own throats. Has anybody actually managed to order one and then actually receive it? You don't have to buy it *in* a Dell to qualify, do you?
Having said all the above, now the Nvidia cards are in good supply, and the 6800GTs are pulling good numbers, I think we are seeing a lot more pressure on prices. My GT had dropped £50 before I bought it (i.e. about $80), and that was in the space of 2 weeks. You just have to jump in when you feel the price is right for you.
Let's face it, any $400 card today is going to be worth $40 in two years time, so it's just a question of feeling you've got your money out of whatever you buy when you buy/sell it...

yeah u should definately go for it and if u feel u dont want it. ebay it and prolly make a little profit. then use that money to buy any card u want
