    Re: GTX560 sli or GTX660 ??

Hmm, tough choice. Price-wise, one GTX 660 is better, plus it's one card, so will have less power draw than two 560's. Also, less heat production, and better upgradeability (you can add another 660 in at a later date and have a lot of power at your disposal)

    I'd go 660!

    Re: GTX560 sli or GTX660 ??

I would go with the GTX 660 also. After using multiple cards in the past (both SLI and CF) there is just a lot less hassle. You don't have to worry about whether performance will scale in certain games and it should be quieter (unless using aftermarket coolers that, these can affect this). I noticed how much micro-stutter there was too once I switched to a single card (HD5970->GTX680)

    Re: GTX560 sli or GTX660 ??

well i currently have a single 560ti and i think for me i would get another 560ti rather than the 660.
this way it comes out cheaper for me and performance of 2x560s is better than a single 660.
however these people do make a good point about heat and power so its up to you.
maybe if you currently have a 560ti you could sell it to someone and if you get a good price then the decision should be easier for the 660

You want Nvidia? as same price of 660GTX I'll take an AMD video Card... generally you can find better as same price of lower-performance Nvidia... you add 10£ and you can find a 7950 that rocks

You can find a 7950 for £181? Bollocks. You can barely find a 7870 for that price.

    Of course guys...i explain..

for 170-175£ you can find generally only Club3D or Palit or XFX 660 cards, that i never suggest cause of noise and hot temperature... so we're talking about 660 ok, but good kind as Zotac (AMP! one is not bad!) or Gigabyte OC or something similiar...generally we're around 200£... and yup, you can find Sapphire 7950

    Re: GTX560 sli or GTX660 ??

the 560 SLi will give you much better performance (I'd say similar to a GTX 680). I'm using GTX 460 SLi atm and they've been running perfectly. I've not had any problems with the games I'm playing and I've not noticed any micro stuttering even when trying to look for it.

If it's cheaper for you to get another GTX 560, and if you have enough power, I'd say go SLi and give it a try.

    Re: GTX560 sli or GTX660 ??

The GTX 660 ti is what I recommend for any gamer. It is far more superior to the old Fermi cards, even the GTX 580 is trumped by the GTX 660 ti. If you can afford another £45, get that card. The 660 is a fine card but the 660 ti is the best value Nvidia card yet.
