for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.
You have an HD6950 2GB,so TBH at least an HD7950 IMHO.

7950's seem pretty solid for the money, but aren't they closer to £220+?
I'd save up a little more, stick with the 6950 (assuming you're on the system in your sig) for a bit until you have enough money to buy a noticeable upgrade (which may coincide with a new series release)
Are any nvidia card well priced to the 7950? I haven't had much luck with AMD cards working with my receivers. Haven't had an nvidia card in about 4 years.

GTX660TI,although the HD7950 3GB is known for its overclocking headroom and if you run games with mods,it is especially a good choice. Either an HD7950 or GTX660TI will be around 30% to 40% faster than your HD6950 2GB. Even voltage locked examples of the HD7950 3GB are hitting 25% to 30% overclocks it seems.

TBH I won't be overclocking. But if they are both similarly priced and perform quite the same at stock then I may go for the nvidia.

Thanks for the help guys.
In the end I got the SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 Vapor-X- 3 GB for £229
There were cheaper ones for £219 (although that was cheapest) but thought the cooler on this was better plus the guaranteed boost to 950 core without needing any tinkering was nice.

generally XFX has many problems, more of assistance service: they're generally hotter than other brands cards (best are gigabyte, sapphire, MSI) and so noisy
