My LG1710b is superb. I love it to bits. Best £330 ive spent .. ever No dead pixels, it came with DVI, VGA, Power and USB cables (for the usb2 hub built in). Also the surrounding bezel is only 1/2" wide so its *all* screen. However, i have noticed lately its slightly blurryer then it once was :S either that or my eyes have adjusted to this crappy work TFT (compaq POS)

The LG is 20ms, 450:1 and 250cd/m2 (iirc).
I dont like sig pics so i turn off sigs Which doesnt help when i dont know what ive written here! DOH!

I'm thinking of getting a TFT but I'm still scared of the.....
    • Dead pixels
    • Lower resolution blur
    • Refresh rate (mouse drag effect)
Soon as I'm comfortable with these I will get one

im sticking by crts atm the problem i see with tfts are the stupidy price range and the native res, its great in windows but when playing games like hl+mods it carnt be streched or out of ratio, i may be fussy but im waiting a little longer to see what the manufactures come up with next, with 10 and 12ms responce times on the plans i carnt see them going or need to be goin lower and the brightness is great but all that puts me off is the ratio and the chance of dead pixels

Totally agree with this here, I'm more comfortable in waiting for the next-gen in TFT's before making the move.

P.S. Damn you rys for showing another forums in your screenshot
