Is there such a thing as a 7850 with 1 or 2 gig ram that has 2 DVI ports on the back for 2 screens that costs around £170 ?
If so do you have a link pointing towards it please to give ?

Although I have to say, why not spend an extra £1 and get a GTX660?

The 7850 is a great product @ £150 but if you have to spend £170 to get a model with dual DVI why not go one step further and get the 660?
At £171 it just seems a no-brainer to me.
I have jsut been informed its actually a 7950 I need not a 7850 ....opps sorry not sure If I will get on of those for that price but whats the cheapest you can find ?
Well the cheapest would technically be:

But I would strongly advise against XFX, especially this card.
This is a much better version

I think the guy in this thread bought one:

Not convinced how reliable pixmania are though :/
But you want to stay well clear of XFX graphics cards imo.
i got/had 2x xfx 6850 there ok but only expereince i have had with them... the first 7950 you posted is the same one as my friend posted me on facebook so looking like that might be the one for me
You will find a lot of people will advise you against XFX, it's worth spending that little bit extra.
The build quality is not great and customer service is very bad if anything does go wrong.
With the 7950 in particular they are very loud and very hot. Much louder than a 6850.

The Sapphire Vapor-X is just the opposite: quiet and cool:

all depends what I can afford at the time long as it has 2 DVI ports for dual screen & not to expensive
but so far looking like the

the sapphire one is nice but may be out of reach for me price wise
after what I Have been putting up with noise wise with 2 XFX 6850's i think it would prolly be quiter -havent got a clue on the heat issue though
What games are you planning to run? This will be at dual 1080p?
It might be that you are better off with a quality 7870 than a cheap 7950.
Do you still have the dual 6850s? Those should still be pretty powerful.
Perhaps consider waiting for the new AMD 8 series.
apprently to get a upgrade from what I had or equal to in one card it has been suggested a 7950 I dont play anything to stressfull gameing wise on my PC but I dont really want to take a step backwards & change to something worse either & I very much doubt I would be able to aford the new 8x series anyway for a long time even if it is better for me personally it is looking like 7950 is best choice (might) even eventually get a second 7950 at some point - Tryinng to get a new monitor first (trying) to steer my dad in the right direction to maybe get me one :-) in time for my birthday or xmas im still useing a DEll something screen that does 1600x1200 really want to go widescreen and a higher res
Yes, there's not much point upgrading to a 7870 that would be a small jump, maybe even going backwards in certain situations.
If you are thinking of getting a second 7950 at some point then thermals and noise are even more important.
If one XFX 7950 is hot and noisy then 2 would would be extremely hot and noisy.
The new 8 series is invariably going to be better value, it's more a matter of whether you can stand the wait.
6850 Crossfire should be just fine for 1600x1200, is this just a single screen?
Is your current setup actually holding you back or is it still sufficient? It sounds OK to me.
I was useing 2 screens untill very recently but my 2 6850's are with a friend who has sold them for me to try & raise some funds towards a 7950 so I am currently useing his spare GTX 260 untill the new card is on its way & here but at the moment I am useing a single screen
Currently using PowerColor Radeon 7950 PCS+ and this is just whisper quiet. I might buy another one day to crossfire. It eats anything I throw at it, might be worth considering.
Yeah that's a pretty sweet 7950.
Get yourself one of these

alot of overclocking headroom and not a XFX card. Stay away. You cannot polish a Turd.
