    WHICH 6800 Ultra - Help

Hello Chaps heres the problem !

I have an XFX ultra 6800 being delivered to my house on tuesday for £392. ( before the price increase )

I just noticed Evesham doing 6800 Ultras for £344 !

Should I cancel my XFX Ultra and get the Evesham one and save £50 or Keep my XFX !

The XFX one is overclocked by 25 Megaherz and memory is 1200 !

Tough choice. Personally I would stick with the XFX because I'm a speed whore
If the money is the issue, I would go for the Evesham. A 6800 Ultra at the same price (or cheaper) than an X800XT sounds good.

Price is not that much off an issue as I think the XFX will have a higher resale value anyway. Also Im not quite sure waht kind of cables and stuff will be missing from the OEM Ultra !

If you are not that bothered about price, I'd stick with what you've ordered. Also, when you eventually come to resell, you'll get more for a proper 'boxed' card than you will with a white boxed OEM edition, so no loss really in the longer term.

XFX 800 Ultra seems to own all other 6800 Ultra's tbh. Plus XFX are recently winning a load of awards o/

omg that Evesham 6800Ultra is £340 and they have 15 in-stock!

Despite being OEM's they will OC as far as any other Ultra and I am very very tempted to get one to try it out. Besides, if you re-sell it on Ebay it will keep its value no problem. Buying an XFX for £50 more means you will lose more in the long run when NVXX & R500 is released early 2005 and the prices crash. Must... resist... ordering one... bank hates me... gaaahhh.

lol I think £382.42 can be called £380 unless you're seriously splitting hairs.

the BFG comes at 425/1100 as opposed to 425/1200 of the XFX. I've got one. It does however clock to 464/1210 with ease and has a lifetime warranty. Very happy with it.
