GTX 670 FTW vs Radeon 7970 vs Radeon 7970 GHz Edition

Hey all,

I'm currently planning a build and can't decide on a card; looking for some second opinions.

Front runner was the EVGA Nvidia 670 FTW (£303)

But I've just seen the price for the Radeon 7970 are actually slightly less (approx £290) and the 7970 Ghz edition isn't that much more (£350 ish for the XFX) and come with a few more games.

Performance wise the ghz edition is obviously the front runner but do you think it's worth the cash and are the power requirements much greater?

Any thoughts welcome.

Thank you, I think I'm leaning towards the 7970 as suggested.

Only reason to buy the 670 from scan was the copy of borderlands 2 which doesn't seem to be offered everywhere.
