I understand that different age groups will have their own and many of the younger forum member may not even heard of the older cards, but it will be interesting to see if there is a pattern to which gen cards were skipped or have been popular.
My list - starting from around 10 years ago:
ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128Mb (Sapphire)
Nvidia GeForce 6600 GT 256Mb (EVGA)
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GT 512Bb (EVGA)
ATI Radeon 5850 1024Mb (Sapphire)
Nvidia GeForce 470 GTX 1280Mb (Gigabyte)
Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 is next on my list, will be buying in the next week or so.

However,I ditched the HD5670 and don't use the HD2000. With the smaller performance jumps at under £150 these last few generations, the graphics card space is getting less and less interesting. I suspect to get a doubling of performance over my HD5850 1GB I would need to spend over £150 now!!
