    No way Id be attempting that with a £300 video card. Since you can get an X800XT for under £320 seems little point. Some people just have to fiddle though.

    Custom PC have guide on this in this months mag. Though they are linking contacts on the GPU to unlock the XT features and then using software for the rest of the config, i beleive

    BTW: Where do you/people get the information from in the first place to know where each wire gets soldered to? I find that amazing how people can just know where everything is and needs to go.

    Can I just say thats a very good guide mate, congrats. The pictures are probably the best ive ever seen in a guide (what camera did you use?) and the instructions are concise. If I had an X800 id be on it like a shot.

    hmm ati are using different chip for gpu regulation now

    Same mem regulators I see...

    Your soldering looks good but the wires could do with some hot glue so they dont come off

    finished card that is doing a wopping 800/660 "520/560 defualt"
