    New Radeon Omega Drivers v2.5.76 ready!

    The Omega Drivers for Windows 2k/XP based on the Catalyst 4.9 are ready, go get them in the ATI Radeon section. Make sure to see the readme for important details and changes.

    Tweaked drivers for ati cards that are supposed to improve your visuals slightly and also comes with some nice little programs.
    Not around too often!

    Well should I enable fast write? Also I find these drivers amazing! I am playing games that used to refuse to be AA... but now look nice and smoth!

    I don't think you need to enable fast writes. There are instructions when you install them as to whether or not you should.

    The instructions say that only AMD 64 users should enable it... but I always had it on....

    they are the mutts... able to up the detail level on IL2 and get a BETTER fps than before.. and they work in CS too - the last ones didn't...

    Going to give them a whirl in Doom 3 in a bit... based on the 4.9s they should give a performance increase on my soft-modded 9500.

    The doom 3 boost with the cats came in mainly for the next gen cards though. Have to say that once again my farcry performance improved- who needs an x800xt pah
