CUDA performace comparisons.

Hi,

I'm thinking about upgrading my aging msi 470 twin frozer and going for a gtx 770 of some type.

My question is this. I use dvdfab to encode my films into a format my ipod likes using CUDA to increase the speed of the process. Would I notice a speed boost if I did upgrade?

I assume also that quicksync would be a lot more efficient than any other method be that APP or CUDA?

I can't say anything about the CUDA vs QuickSync hardware encoding myself but you can read about it more in here: Intel QuickSync vs Nvidia CUDA in DVDFab. Reading this one would say that CUDA is faster, but I would say it takes a considerable amount of power to perform it, while QuickSync was specifically designed for this. Ergo QuickSync will be a lot more efficient.
