i7 4770 integrated graphics versus discrete GPU

About to build a new PC based on the i7 4770K. It will be used for Digital photos and HD video editing and when not being used directly it runs SETI and Einstein so the CPU will always be at 100%. Will I benefit a lot by installing a dedicated GPU or will the integrated graphics be sufficient. At some point I hope to get a DELL 3014 monitor.

I've head that the Cuda cores in nvidia gpus will greatly improve the render times for hd videos and photo editing. I've got no experience with it though because i have an ati graphics card.

I know Folding@home can make use of AMD graphics cards to improve throughput, but I don't know about the distributed computing projects you're using.

The integrated graphics in the i7 4770 should be fine with the Dell 3014.

Thanks for that. I know that Adobe recommend the CUDA cores for use with Premier but I haven't got to that level with the video editing yet. Will try with the integrated graphics first and take it from there.

I thought FAH worked better with Nvidia?
