    Which GTX 760

Scan is selling a few GTX 760's from around £197-210.
The cheapest is the PNY gtx 760 and from what i can see it is using the reference cooler? So all PNY has done is stick a sticker over it?

Scan offers a 36 month warranty if purchased as well so is there any reason to spend more to get the EVGA/MSI GTX 760 which also seems to be using the reference cooler.

    PNY GeForce GTX 760 XLR8 Graphics Card - 2GB - GF760GTX2GEPB (£197)

    2GB EVGA GeForce GTX 760 - 02G-P4-2760-KR (£207)

Wow, thank you for clearing that up in an instant.
What causes the performance loss? the components or cooler?
How do you know if it is a reference card?

Most reference cards have poor coolers / heat dissipation on them, ASUS do the DIRECT CU II Top version of this card.

Best graphics cooling system on a card that I have ever had.

Palit 760 jetstream seems decent, just it only has a 2 year warranty compared to the other 3 year warranties at scan.

    Re: Which GTX 760

I generally tend to avoid the Palit cards as they generally run hotter than all the others (in my experiance, this might not be the case anymore).

I would go with MSI... it's one of quietest and coolest you can get.

    Re: Which GTX 760

If you want the best performance it's usually the Asus cards that are best.
Gigabyte do well and their cooling is supposed to be great. They have a UK rma depot although if you're buying from scan it's a moot point.

So Asus, Gigabyte or EVGA FTW (even better with dual fans) cards

    Re: Which GTX 760

I would probably go with gigabyte as all will be the same actual card and have pretty much the same results once over clocked ,so I would go with gigabyte as there warrentys are really good and UK RMA and there cooling is usually one of the best too

Are EVGA ACX cards any good? Just read the review, seems to be highly rated but I prefer real world feedback before I make an upgrade.

It's more or less on par with a GTX 670, for less money, and overclocks pretty well too. What's not to like? I'm a big fan of EVGA - they treat you like a grown up and don't tear up your warranty when you fit a waterblock.

Although obviously if you were to buy a waterblock you wouldn't get the ACX version.

+1 for EVGA, their support is excellent, products well made and warranty good as well (register it when you get it) - The trade up system is also pretty cool.

True, there's little point in coughing up for fancy cooler, but it's still worthwhile going for a factory overclocked card and then watercooling it.

    Re: Which GTX 760

By the reviews I'd go for the Gigabyte windforce card. Good overclock but with low noise and temps. Seems the best balanced version to me.
Also I had a Gigabyte GTX460 and it was rock solid. 'Upgraded' to a GTX570 Twin Frozer from MSI which is so much louder (yet still runs hot) when gaming that I don't think I'd buy another MSI card or product again.
