nVidia 690 GTX - Is it worth getting the Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo 690 Vga Cooler?

    Hi,

I have recently got a 690 GTX and find it a great card. It does run quite hot at around 82oC at load and 37oC idle. It has been extremely hot in my room so know that contributes to it some what as the rest of the case is well ventilated and the CPU is cooled with a Corsair 100 kit.

I wondered if it was worth getting the Arctic Accelero Twin Turbo 690 Vga Cooler, mainly asking if anyone has had any experience with it, how much did it reduce the card temperature by, installation, build quality etc?

The benchmarks seems to be big in some, like a 25% drop in temperature but in one benchmark it was only 5oC lower which isn't great considering it is £75.00.

I considered water cooling but know the 690GTX water block alone would set me back £110 plus whatever the rest of the water cooling system would cost. Again if anyone can tell me what I could go for in a water cooling setup I would be grateful as pretty lost on what it good etc.

long story from short format. go for best cooler that you can effort for VGA. it will help you to make your Graphic card performance high and long life time.specially when you are using very high end GPU
