Trying to get back into gaming..

Hey

Right i used to follow all the latest hardware ect untill i stopped playing all the new games that was coming out. I now am stuck with a fast PC with a half decent graphics card. But reading up on all the latest games e.g doom 3 and HL2 coming out i am going to need something a bit faster. I have been offered a 9800XT The card is fitted with ramsinks on the ram also for £120 but dont know if this is a good price or not?

Any help would be great

Thats a great price for an xt. Should play hl2 and doom 3 fine, but perhaps not with all of the bells and whistles on, for a bit less 2nd hand ~£100 you could just get a 9800pro, there is only about 2-3% difference between them.
