Difference between SLI/Crossfire bridges
Hey,
Im not asking for the difference between SLI and Crossfire, but I've noticed some companies selling their own SLI/Crossfire bridges and was wondering if there was any significant difference between them in terms of performance, excluding the fact that some allow 2 or 3 cards in a SLI/Crossifre set up.

Aye, no difference.
EVGA even sells one that lights up if you use EVGA cards.
They are expensive if you buy them in shops and haven't had any to your MoBo/card (£10 for a CrossFire bridge).
But on eBay you can get them for aound £3.
Not sure about SLI.

I didn't think it would, just wanted to make sure there wasn't some special feature I'd overlooked.

This is kind of like Gigabyte using different CPU sockets (their own materials) to set them out from the crowd. I would guess there's not much of a significant difference though other than different use of materials although you won't be connecting and removing the sli/crossfire bridge much so a malleable metal like gold wouldn't be needed. tl;dr - Not really much difference.
