Yeah from what I've seen this is performing very well now, I've not actually read anything bad about it yet.

Will have to install this right away.

Not that my card is struggling with any of the games I am playing

I just checked out Far Cry 3, this is a game that was suffering from extreme stuttering before, it is still suttering now but I can see an improvement. The only way I could play the game before was to use RadeonPro and limit the maximum frames to 30fps which reduced most of the stuttering effect though I still got it from time to time or when I was turning quickly, having just tried it now I found that by reducing the resolution to 1600x1050 it was more playable, but I would prefer to play it at 1080p with Ultra settings as my hardware should be able to cope with these settings.

I think I read somewhere that they lumped the diff Windows versions and also x86 and x64 versions together.

Yes looks like it, maybe fed up of people using the wrong one :p

Installed the new drivers but not had a chance to play a game yet to test them.

What are your thoughts on the BETA version of the driver? I used to install it thinking the extra .5 fps would make a huges difference to my k/d ratio (in truth it stayed below 1 most of the time.....)

It's not about fps gains for me, I update drivers these days to either get better features (AA modes, frame pacing etc.) or to fix bugs. Last time I reported a bug I was seeing with the WHQL drivers, and after a while AMD emailed me personally to suggest I try a particular beta that had just been released as it should fix it, and to let them know if I still had a problem. It did fix it, so I'm happy with that one (and will move to the WHQL driver once the fix is rolled in).

I wasn't lucky with 13.8 and had to revert back to the WHQL drivers.
Been running this for a few days now and I'm very pleased with it.
