    Good sub £100 gfx card

I have purchased a 9200se for a system that I am building for someone but I do not think it will be powerful enough, they will be playing games like fifa and rts's. The system is a SN45G with a barton 2500 and 512mb pc3200 ddr. They will be running in 1024x768 resolution mainly.
    Main Rig: i2600k@4.3Ghz/ASUS P8P67 PRO/MSi GTX580/16GB Mushkin/HAF X/Noctua NH-D14

I have got a 9200se, can play farcry demo without any performance hits, and i ave got 2100(palmino), 512 sdr ram. It is powerfull enough, have also played cod new expansion pack, but the CPU became the bottleneck ! if need £100 card get a 9600 pro/non pro, and 256 MB memory

you should be looking at £100 tops for 980 pro so the 9700 pro about 80-85

the 9600 pro is a sub £60 gfx card and the non/pro can be got for £40.
dont waste your time with 256mb memory gfx cards.until the x800/6800 the memory is not a bottleneck on gfx card so basically you pay a lot more for a 256MB 9800 pro than the standard one for nothing.

so really aim for a 2nd hand 9800 pro.

Another vote for the 9800 Pro.

I got a spilt new one for £128 which with a quick flash of the BIOS became a 9800 XT minus the extra 128mb memory.

A good condition second hand one and your flying.
