Pretty bad! For graphics guys using fonts that show jaggies is not a good thing

I'm not too sure, I just did a test and it took me about 7 mins to download the driver (240MB) at an average rate of 800 KB/sec.

I'm sure I used to get about 1mB/S, but lately the speeds have dropped right down - server cutbacks perhaps?

Download speeds were fine and I saw that during the install, and clicked Custom to avoid installing it but could not see it on the list. Even after completing the install, it's no where to be seen and yes, the new website is a little bleak and the wording stinks of middle management. It doesn't bother me too much since I only ever go for drivers and the occasional press room but I would like the black and green back...

Could be I'm on the Mobility driver set; W7x64. They probably can't sample 7970Ms to the same volume as desktop parts. Then there is the nightmare of the combinations of cooling/hybrid CF/OEM configs and so on that comes with notebook graphics.

AMD, I really am banking on Mantle being as good as you say it is for my laptop to blitz BF4.

Yes - I think it's great for a certain audience. But I'm not that audience, and I don't want it snooping around my settings or talking to the cloud on my behalf. No doubt there are a variety of opt-in/out type things to configure it to communicate how I like.. but easier just to not install it in the first place given I'm capable of adjusting game options myself

Its a reskinned Raptr which tracks games cross platforms and adds a whole community thing. They are also adding the same thing as Geforce Experience with the auto settings stuff but there is only 4 games in my list that have enough information at the moment... I'm sure it will get better though.

Hopefully Beta7 is better then the Beta6 drivers; noticed a drop in fps in a number of games and refreshing the windows score shows it's droped from 7.6 to 6 with the beta 6 drivers [unless moving from my a6 apu to the i5 is the reason]

I feel the site needs more color, esp the graphics pages. Cutting back to black and white is real offsetting.

Is AMD going away the green color? Is it orange black and white now?
