What are my options?
So this is my current build:
i3 3220
ASRock H77 Pro4-M
VP450-P
1TB Seagate
500GB Caviar Blue (for Mac OSx)
I don't currently have a graphics card - that was my question. Which one should I get? I'll most likely need a new PSU (I want to get one anyway) and I would like a new case - my Z11 is too big and my M-ATX board looks stupid.
What I'm looking at:

http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/...roductId=55140
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/fract...usb-30-w-o-psu
The 7950 vs 7870 (LE)
Which one should I get and why?
I should probably upgrade my CPU as well. I plan on getting a second hand i5 from somewhere or a new one if there's a good price on one.

What is your budget for each component or overall?

Re: What are my options?
I've got 300 GBP now, but get a weekly income of 30 GBP.
This is the 7950 I'm looking at: http://www.scan.co.uk/products/3gb-m...roductId=68953
It's in the Today Only sale for 172 and the 670 is up for 168.
I will be using this with Mac OS x so it HAS to dual boot with Windows 8 and 10.8.5

Re: What are my options?
If you've got £300, I suggest looking at the R9 280X.

Re: What are my options?
The problem I have, is that I only have an i3 3220. I can save up I suppose.
However. I need to get a GPU that is compatible with Mac OS x 100%. I spent too much time trying to get my 7850 working.
I can get a 660 Ti for 130 GBP delivered. It's second hand in immaculate condition. Or I can get a MSI 760 for 185 + the free games which I'll most likely get 20 for in total. What would you recommend I do?

Re: What are my options?
The VP450P is not too bad at all:

You should be able to run a GTX660 off it fine, and AMD is releasing the R9 270 soon too. Its basically a downclocked version of the R9 270X but using a single PCI-E power connector.

Look at the insanelymac forums for good suggestions if you are going the Hackintosh route.

Re: What are my options?
A Gigabyte Z77 board with an Intel I3-3225 (onboard HD4000 graphics) is probably the least troublesome (and relatively inexpensive) way of building a system suitable for OSX.
You can use other boards, and you can use separate graphics cards (even AMD/ATI at a push) and it is possible to use AMD processors BUT for first time least hassle - use a Gigabyte board and an Intel processor with onboard graphics.
You will also learn quite a bit about Mac internals along the way! :)
