    Problem with HDMI Display

    Hi,

    I am having a mare!!!

I have 2 computers here one with a GTX 680 and another with a GTX 780. I have several monitors all with HDMi and one with Display port.

Now when i plug either computer in to any display via DVI i get a picture no problem. When i plug either computer in via HDMI cable i get no display, i have tried display port also and again no display. Plug in via DVI again and i get a full display on either machine. at first i thought i had a faulty graphics card but 2 faulty graphics cards.... not likely!

When i go in to nvidia control panel the option to change the device to use the hdmi is not there!

any help? using latest drivers etc
    I am the gadget man!

    Re: Problem with HDMI Display

You shouldn't need to change anything as it's supposed to be plug and play. You're certain the HDMI cable works? Have you tried a cold boot connected to HDMI only?.

    Re: Problem with HDMI Display

That's odd. Firstly I'd roll back the drivers, if no HDMI connection is available then sounds like drivers (isn't detecting HDMI). If that doesn't work you may want to use Driver Sweeper then clean install the drivers.

Also can you control the monitors via Windows display panel? Just make sure all the settings are matching.

If you go into device manager for sound do you have the AMD sound drivers there for outputting over HDMI. If it hasn't detected HDMI there probably won't be sound drivers for the card under "Sound" either.
