    Which R9 280x?

I'm unsure of which R9 280x to buy:
R9 280x from XFX; reviews show that the card is quiet and cool under load, (also i prefer the look of the card to the others but not to a point of not getting a better card) but I had heard at one point that XFX GPUs failed often which is a turn off
R9 280x from MSI; reviews show the card performs well, some say the card is quiet and cool, others show the card being very loud and hot along with some posts on these forums
R9 280x from ASUS; reviews show the card performing well quiet and cool under load, but the XFX was cooler still.
Also would a be quiet! power zone 650W be ample for the job or should I plonk for a cheaper PSU?

Second cheapest on scan and has a good factory overclock with a beast cooler to handle it.

Problem is card is overdue, though only one day, not a massive fan of the look of the card as a whole or the colour of the PCB. With the BIOS its hardly setting records with the noise or temp. I willing to go up to £250 area, but if the improvement is minimal then it is a card to consider.

    This may help slightly: HERE

I had been looking at that, I guess what I'm really asking is for peoples experience hopefully with the card but also with the manufacturer. Going by that review the MSI card is quite loud, but bit-tech and guru 3d claim the card to be quiet and cool

All you can do is browse forums and see what people say

Also take a look at THIS to give you rough idea on the manufacturers

Back to the indirect method then.
Is the be quiet power zone 650w worth the money?

Gigabyte or MSI is a safe bet = £230
