i'd go with 780 sli
i'd go with 780 sli
Looking at your PC, I would say go 780SLI they work really well as a pair you will see massive gains in frames / second.
As for some comments regarding scaling I can only say things have changed since the 400 series days, I had a pair of 570s that worked really well on all the games I play apart from the ocasinal blip on a new release. I think to many people harp on about sli not working very well and its unfounded from my point of view.
Back to the 780s, I started with 1 Hydro Copper 780 and after a month decided to get a second one as when playing some games the FPS dropped to a noticeable level usally when a lot was going on having a second 780 has cured this for nearly all but one game which is Arma2.
Oh and I play at 1920x1200 @ 60Hz. And, yes I do need all that GPU power as its not all about the max frames you can hit with a set up, but about the min that your system can keep to.
i would go 780 SLI over a single 780ti, unless you are willing to get another in the future?
What with the aftermarket coolered 290's coming out soon are there any rumors of the price of 780's and even 780Ti's coming down to compete?
Might be worth it to wait a couple of weeks and see what happens then make a more informed choice...
BF4 is very poorly optimized atm, but try overclocking anyway. (Oh and high not ultra settings cant hurt you )
You could wait for a while until next gen nvidia cards in Q3-4 of next year because, lets be honest, a 780 is good enough for pretty much all games on 1080p
having a 780, i cant imagine why you'd need more than that to be honest. but hey, if you can, then why not. =)
