    New GPU

    hi there everyone,

im looking for a new graphics card, i have about 190 pounds to spend however i would also like to get a headset as well. i have been considering the 4gb version of the r9 270x or an 2gb gtx 760. i intend to play games such as BF4 , skyrim, borderlands 2 , dark souls 2, titan fall, destiny etc.. My last option is too wait, I won the 960gb m500 crucial ssd a couple weeks ago and i am considering selling it and upgrading my pc(this would include CPU cooler, case fans, new power supply and a smaller ssd). If i sell it then would have more funds available and be able to purchase a r9 280x

should i wait and how much difference is their between the r9 270x 4gb and the r9 280x 3gb ?

any suggestions would be appreciated thank you

    Re: New GPU

The 270x is a 7870 where as the 280x is a 7970. Congrats on the win! I recently bought an Asus 760 and I'm extremely happy with it I do, however, think it's a little overpriced, and at the moment, shadow play hasn't worked on any game I've played. It cuts out half the video. The auto optimise option is great though - don't have to fiddle with settings

    Re: New GPU

I play a fair bit of batman, but lately not much else. Batman runs really well. I've tried BF3 which looks outstanding, but not yet tried 4 as I haven't had the money to buy it.

Also been playing bioshock infinite which looks amazing!

    Re: New GPU

Wonder if it would make sense to suggest a nVidia GPU cause you play Physx enabled games (Batman) or who cares and just go with a AMD.
    Congratulations on the SSD win!!!

    Re: New GPU

I would suggest waiting for the headset and spending more money on the GPU, but its up to you.
