    Recording to VHS

    Hi

I am trying to copy my old VHS tapes onto DVD as they have already started to lose quality. I searched the threads and other people have suggested using a set top DVD recorder. However I already have a DVD recorder in my PC and was wondering if there was a more cost efficient way to do that. Any suggestions? Thanks.

You can use a capture card although unless you buy a high quality one (quite expensive) its not going to match the quality of a standalone recorder.
