    gigabyte GA-790Xta-ud4 Graphics card?

I currently have a crappy radeon 5700 and I am thinking of upgrading. Does anyone know the best graphics card that the motherboard will suport? I currently also have 16gigs of ram:1333mhz 6 fans, a 700 wat power supply. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi nukesploder,
Can you tell me the model of you PSU please? This will aid me in finding a suitable match for a GPU for you.

    Thanks,

Suggest anything that isn't over 1000$

My processor is fine. It's a amd Phenom 2 X6 1090T black edition so it can do it's job pretty well

at the top end your looking at a GTX 780 or an R9 290 and would be close to your max budget

stepping down 1 bracket would be a GTX 770 or an R9 280 (or 7970)

all of which would be a huge improvement over what you have!
