Hi, just wondering if anyone has used a vga silencer on their sapphire 9800 pros, do you get a good overclock and noticible performance gains with them? John

I am currently runnin a silencer on my 9800Pro, not overclocking it though, just to make my system nice and quiet for media.
but I remember when I first installed I did overclock to around 420/360 and it was fine as long as I had the fan on the higher setting.

cool, i suppose that would give me a few more frames in half life 2 and for £7 it cant be bad

Oh, what did you do about the connector? I've heard that its a 3 pin and on the card there is only a little 2 pin connector.
