6600gt

does anywhere have benchmaks for twin 6600gt's running in Sli yet? these cards are 120 each from lowestonweb.com and two of thesewould reach my budget admirably 200-250. specifcally wher would theie performance be in comparison with a 6800nu and a 6800gt

well, if you get a 6600 gt it will be good for a while, and then get another one later when you need a performance boost - by then they will be cheaper.

that is true i suppose.. i only neeed a card that will play half life 2 and halo 2 at 1280 by 1024. but then again an sli motherboard will be more expensive so it might not be a great saving. i may go for an agp motherboard and a 6800nu save some money and get decent speakers ect. also i suppose that that shoul;d keep me happy for 2-3years?? providing i sacrifice resolution.. alterntively i may see if i can squeeze my budget by cuting all of these off and get a 6800gt... i suppose that would be worth it in the end.
